MindEase Therapy
MindEase Therapy (MET) is a specialised bodywork process developed by physiotherapist Farryl Roth.
Farryl Roth has treated hundreds of patients with chronic headaches, migraines and other stress related symptoms using MET therapy with successful long-term results.
Many patients have reported radical changes in their long-term headache and pain symptoms with increased awareness of how to manage their own stress and pain.
The MET process aims to address disorders in the internal stress system, to release tension and imbalances in the nervous system through the application of specialised fascial and stress trigger point techniques. Patients who receive MET treatment report experiencing profound changes in symptoms related to stress hormone over-activity. The nervous system can be seen as a link between how the mind and body react to stress, through the release of specific hormones. This explains why MET treatment can result in alleviating physical symptoms, as well as having a positive effect of emotional wellbeing. In this way the technique aims to allow the patient to find more ease of being.
MET has helped patients who experience headaches, body pain, fatigue, anxiety, as well as cases of digestive complaints and irritable bowel syndrome. These symptoms are often found in people who have experienced trauma, anxiety and chronic stress, as these can cause over-activity in their nervous systems. This treatment benefits these patients by re-educating and balancing the stress response.
